Cornerstone Events: The Best of Faith, Family, Fellowship!
It’s almost here! … Our friends at “Surrendered Clay” are hosting a powerful day-long SHIFT 2019 event — and you’re invited! Special Guest Brian Guerin will take part in this uncommon time of ministry — a time for UNCOMMON restoration, reformation, and miracles! Registration is available at https://surrenderedclay.org/shift-2019
This event is being held at a night club & event center that was previously a church. Surrendered Clay invites you to come with great expectation for a mighty move of God!
Learn about the significance of Pentecost for modern believers with Rabbi Jeff Kipp, Nathan Purro, and Curt Landry. Don’t miss out as Pastor Gary and his guests guide you through the celebration of one of the most important feast days of the Bible — the day when the Lord chose to pour out His Spirit on believers and usher in signs, miracles, and wonders!
Watch June 10-14 (Monday-Friday) on Cornerstone Television, during the Real Life Airtimes (1 PM & 8 PM/ET).
Other airtimes also include:
• Rabbi Curt Landry – June 9 @ 1 PM/ET
• Rabbi Jeff Kipp – June 9 @ 5 PM/ET
Our battle cry in prayer is for the one who is lost. We believe God has raised up Cornerstone Television with power to reach the unreachable, and we want you to join us! Tune in July 9-11th, from 8-9:30 PM/ET, for our special evangelistic broadcast, which will focus on winning souls to Jesus! We want to pray for your loved ones who are not yet saved, empower you to share your faith with others, and team up with you to make an even bigger impact!
You’ll be inspired and filled with renewed hope as you listen to local Cornerstone TV favorites, Pastors J. Anthony Gilbert, Tim Burgan, and Flo Demus. They’ll be sharing the Gospel with a message that is clear, powerful, and personal. So invite your unsaved loved ones to tune in! Pray that God will use the broadcast to capture their hearts. We are expecting God to move in mighty ways during this special broadcast — so mark your calendar, and plan to be a part of our Just One More celebration.
If you’re a Greater Pittsburgh viewer watching this station for free with an antenna, listen up! Cornerstone Television’s rescan day is coming.
On August 2 at 12 pm, the Pittsburgh station is moving to a new frequency — and if you use an antenna to watch TV, you will need to take action.
If you watch TV for free using an over the air antenna, you will have to rescan your TV or converter box on August 2 at 12 pm (Noon) to make sure you can continue watching us. But no new equipment or services are needed. Once you rescan your set, you’ll still find us right here on channel 40.1, along with our Pittsburgh Faith & Family Channel on channel 40.6.
Now, don’t try to get ahead. Doing it before August 2 at 12 pm will not work, as we will not have moved yet.
When our moving day arrives, rescanning is easy and just takes a few minutes. You can do this by selecting “scan” or “autotune” from your TV or converter box control menu. You can usually find instructions by pressing the “set-up” or “menu” buttons on your remote control.
If you subscribe to cable or satellite service, your service provider will make this change for you. But don’t forget those extra TVs, if you have one in a bedroom or kitchen that uses an antenna only and is not connected to your service. Those will need rescanning.
So why is this happening? Recently the Federal Communications Commission – the agency that regulates the public airwaves – held an auction to reallocate TV airwaves for wireless internet services. Nearly 1,000 TV stations must now move frequencies, including this station.
Stations are required to move at different times over the next three years. That means you may have to rescan your TV more than once – each time a station changes frequencies.
To find out if your other local channels are moving frequencies and for more information, visit TVAnswers.org and stay with us hear at Cornerstone Television. You may also call the Federal Communication Commission’s consumer hotline at 1-888-CALLFCC (1-888-225-5322) and press “6” to speak to a help desk representative. Their call center is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Eastern time, seven days a week. They’ll keep you up to date on these changes.
You can also reach Cornerstone Television with your channel change questions at 412-349-4323.
