Focus 4 will articulates the Mission, Purpose, Aims, and Practices of this ministry. The four day
per week, one-hour program takes up the challenge to bring the saving power of Jesus Christ to our culture and
mobilizes believers to utilize their giftedness as dynamic witnesses for our Lord.
The Mission of Cornerstone television is best articulated in Acts 1:8: "But you will receive power when the Holy
Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth."
- Jerusalem was the place of death and destruction
- Judea the place of rejection
- Samaria the place of prejudice
- The uttermost parts of the earth—the place of fear and the unknown
We are commissioned by our Lord to take the love of Christ to all these areas of life.
Cornerstone's Purpose has long been clearly identified:
- We are a platform for the presence of God
- A window into God's signs and wonders
- A bridge to bring unity to the body of Christ
- A hub for missions outreach
In addition to these sets of "4's" our Aims are to minister in
- Love
- Purity
- Honesty
- Unselfishness
Add to these the final four disciplines we determine to Practice:
- Absolute surrender to the will of God
- A commitment to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit
- A pledge to live our lives in openness and honesty to each other in such a way as to promote true fellowship
- commit ourselves to life-changing faith and prayer
Focus 4 will air Monday through Thursdays at 7 p.m. to be repeated at 1 a.m. and 1 p.m. the following day. The
Friday Focus 4 slot will feature worship and praise, along with special ministry and teaching.
