For the Stewardship of His Money & His Message
Your friends at Cornerstone TeleVision have
always been aware that all the funds committed to us and provided for the
operation of this outreach are actually God's funds, coming to this
ministry through the hands of His people.
Therefore, we are committed as a ministry
to the wise use and good stewardship of
those funds.
Cornerstone TeleVision has always worked openly and above-board in
its requests for funds. Here is our absolute and uncompromised
commitment to you:
The Cornerstone TeleVision Pledge of Integrity to You
- Cornerstone TeleVision is legally controlled
by an independent, self-perpetuating Board of Directors, selected for
their spiritual commitment, personal character and business acumen.
Cornerstone TeleVision's President, Ron Hembree reports to that Board.
- Cornerstone TeleVision is a member of the Evangelical Council for
Financial Accountability (ECFA), the Christian self-
regulating organization with the most stringent regulations and strictest
ethical standards in regard to fundraising and management.
- Cornerstone TeleVision is audited annually by an independent outside auditing firm. That audit is available to the
public along with our ministry's financial statements. Cornerstone TeleVision functions under an annually-approved
operating budget. This budget is formulated by the executive staff, reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors
and monitored carefully throughout the year.
- As a legally chartered not-for-profit corporation, Cornerstone TeleVision
annually reports to the Federal Government and the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania in regard to our operation, our use of funds and our
fundraising expenses.
- Cornerstone TeleVision is committed to
responsible fundraising. We will not engage
in questionable fundraising practices, but will
present the needs plainly on the air or through the mail. We maintain a
reasonable percentage of fundraising expense: over the last three years,
fundraising expense has averaged 11%.
- Cornerstone TeleVision is aware of the biblical basis of asking Christians
to support God's work, as described in 1 Corinthians 9:14: "In the same
way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the Gospel should get
their living by the Gospel."
- Cornerstone TeleVision is committed to
responsible handling of each gift, no matter the size. All gifts are
opened and processed in
carefully-controlled and secured circumstances. Gifts are receipted and
very much appreciated.
We understand that every gift makes a difference and truly changes a life.
- We believe you have the right to know where the money comes from and where
it goes.
