  • Founded by Russell Bixler and incorporated in 1970 as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, Cornerstone TeleVision began broadcasting on April 15, 1979. Broadcast facilities are located in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area.
  • Through the used of powerful media technologies such as satellite and IPTV, the ministry of Cornerstone TeleVision is sharing the Gospel across North America with a potential viewer audience of 2.75 million households.
  • A satellite up-link system permits Cornerstone TeleVision to broadcast on Galaxy 25, KU band satellite.
  • Cornerstone TeleVision also broadcasts on Sky Angel IPTV and streams 24/7 from our website: www.ctvn.org.
  • Cornerstone broadcasts 24 hours-a-day and produces two daily programs and eight weekly programs.
  • Cornerstone's annual budget is approximately $7.2 million. Over 80% of that budget is received via donations from viewers.
  • Cornerstone TeleVision contributes over $500,000 per year to various ministries worldwide. Special emphasis is given to incarcerated viewers and their families.
  • Over the last 30 years, over 26,000 viewers have phoned to say they have come to Christ as a direct result of the daily programs.
